1. Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG (8 GB):
Finally we have got the perfect phone for this price range. Last month Asus had launched 3 new phones with its new Zenfone series of phones exclusively on flipkart. And at this price we have got the Asus Zenfone 5 (8 GB) which is really a great phone. A month earlier there was an absolute craze of the Moto E but now we have an even better phone which covers all the shortcomings of the Moto E and provide amazing specifications and awesome technology at just 9999 Rs. which is unbelievable. The phone’s features is so great that it isn’t a bad buy even at 15,000 Rs. It has got the 1.6 GHz Intel dual core processor with 2 GB RAM which deliver exceptional performance and good multi-tasking and its very good for gaming also. The 5 inches HD screen and the display is very good, it has also got the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. One more thing I loved about the phone is, it has increased display sensitivity so you can use the phone even while wearing gloves, this is great for winter season. The phone’s design is sleek and beautiful. It has got very good camera and it runs on the latest Android OS. This phone comes with two storage option 8 GB(9,999 Rs) and 16 GB(12,999 Rs) while both come with the expandable storage, so its much better to go with the 8 GB model. Okay, now one thing I felt could have been better is the phone’s UI, it runs on Asus’s own ZenUI which is good but it can be made even more good looking. Overall this phone is a very good buy and can be your choice even if your budget is 15,000 Rs.

2. Motorola Moto E:
The low budget king has finally got some serious competition now. Not to forget its cheaper and its cheaper by whole 3,000 Rs which is not a small amount when buying a phone for this budget. If you want to save some money, this is still a good buy and you can buy it instead of buying a 10,000 Rs. phone. The Moto E runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and most important is that, Motorola has promised at least one update of the Android when a new version is released. It has a Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 A7 processor clocked at at 1.2 GHz and is supported by 1 GB of RAM, the combination of which can handle most everyday needs, multitasking and gaming. The phone has a very good design which is similar to the Moto G. It has a 1980 mAh Li-Ion battery which can last all day. Its camera is not so great but come on…., you are not buying a phone at 7,000 Rs to click high resolution images. Additionally it has water resistance and smudge coating with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Sometimes, I wonder how Motorola manages to put so many things at such a low price. Overall, it is a perfect all round phone one should buy at this price range and yes, it is better than Micromax Unite 2.

Just in case, you don’t like the above two phones for any reason, then instead of buying Micromax Unite 2, go with this phone. It is launched recently by Micromax and has become very popular and successful phone and considering the price point at which it is offered, it becomes a very good buy. If you want high performance and good camera, the Micromax Canvas 2 A120 Colours is a good choice. It features an HD resolution display. It is offered in many colours and funky back panels. And the speed at which Micromax is increasing the quality of the after sales service, buying Micromax phones are no more risky!

Xperia M is a good phone from Sony which was priced much higher earlier at around 14,000 Rs. At that price it was a bad buy but, it seems Sony has realized the mistake and its price has been significantly reduced at under 10,000 Rs. Its processor is not that big but with 1 GB of RAM at this price, it becomes a good choice with a good overall performance. Another speciality of this phone is as usual the amazing design and build quality of the phones. Sony Xperia M looks super sexy and it has stylish buttons and overall it feels pretty good in hands!

The reason for its huge success is it has got everything balanced and the fact that it comes from world’s largest phone maker Samsung. Though it has lower RAM of 768 MB, it is still a good phone with good performance and simple design. Also, the trust on Samsung and its after sales services and support makes the phone a good buy.
