Looking to buy a mid ranged smartphone? Then it can be a very tedious task. As there are number of good phones in this range which make everybody confused and helpless. Don’t worry now, I am here to help you out. I have written the latest ranking of 5 Best Android Phones under 15000 Rs. for the month of August. Read it and compare the phones and choose the best one for you.
Last month hundreds of readers of this blog had commented and asked which phone they should choose among the crowded market. Which has made me better understand the requirements and view point of the buyers. So I am trying to make this list even easier for you by giving you appropriate information. You are always welcome to ask your queries.
which dominated the list from last six months. But now there are excellent new launches which have made this range much more competitive, which is more beneficial for us, the buyers. So, let’s take a look at the list of 5 Best Android Phones under 15000 Rs. :
1. Xiaomi Mi 3:
This is undoubtedly the best phone in this price range. It has got every specs of a premium smartphone and yet it is priced so low. This phone also marks the entry of Xiaomi in India, a Chinese brand which is popularly known as the Apple of China. The main highlight of the phone is its Quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor which is normally used in all the premium flagship phones like the Nexus 5 and other phones costing more than 30,000 Rs. All the other hardware and features are of the top end phones. The display, the camera, the battery everything is great. So, in one line, the phone is a real buy and a great value for money, just be cautious it has 16 GB of internal storage which is unexpandable so, those who need bigger storage should adjust with it or can buy another phone. And yes, if you are willing to buy it, you need to be patient as the stocks are getting out of stock really very fast, also you have to first pre-register it.
2. Motorola Moto G:
Finally, it has lost its no. 1 spot after six months but there are still many reasons to buy it. The phone is very trustworthy and I have recommended Moto G to thousands of readers of this blog and many of my friends and not a single person has complained about the device. The phone runs on the very latest Android 4.4 Kitkat with promised updates to atleast few Android versions. Not to forget that it has the stock Android UI which delivers the pure Android experience unlike the great newly launched phones which have messed with the UI. It has excellent build quality and exceptionally amazing performance. The amazing Snapdragon 400 processor had made sure that my Moto G hasn’t lagged since I bought it. The phone has very good 4.5 inches screen which is important as it fits perfectly in one hand and HD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has also got water repellent coating. It has got one of the best ratings and user reviews with thousands of users being very satisfied. Although its camera is just 5 MP, the phone is still the best overall package. Its worth to compromise over the camera. Another advantage to buy the Moto G is that, it is a very popular phone globally and it is always there in the news so, it will always get the attention of the developers and the company.
3. Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG (16 GB):
It was very hard to put it on the 3rd spot and it clearly wins over the above 2 phones in terms of expandable storage, the feature which lacks both in Xiaomi Mi 3 and Moto G. Last month Asus had launched 3 new phones with its new Zenfone series of phones exclusively on flipkart. And at this price we have got the Asus Zenfone 5 (16 GB) which is really a great phone. It has got the 1.6 GHz Intel dual core processor with 2 GB RAM which deliver exceptional performance and good multi-tasking and its very good for gaming also. The 5 inches HD screen and the display is very good, it has also got the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. One more thing I loved about the phone is, it has increased display sensitivity so you can use the phone even while wearing gloves, this is great for winter season. The phone’s design is sleek and beautiful. It has got very good camera and it runs on the latest Android OS. Okay, now one thing I felt could have been better is the phone’s UI, it runs on Asus’s own ZenUI which is good but it can be made even more good looking. Overall this phone is a very good buy. And guys here is the key, both the 8 GB and 16 GB versions of this phone have got the same specs, so its much better to go with the 8 GB version as it will save you 3,000 Rs.
4. Micromax Canvas Turbo:
Yes, its a phone from Micromax and is another very good choice in this range. This is a real beauty from Micromax. The phone looks good, feels great and performs amazingly well. Also, it feels lighter in the hands than other phones. After its launch few months back, the phone has become very popular around the range of 18,000 Rs. But after the launch of Canvas Knight and Canvas Gold which are the new flagships of Micromax, the price of Canvas Turbo has been significantly reduced. And at this price point, it has amazing specifications and excellent performance.
5. Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus:
This phone was launched to challenge the Micromax Canvas Knight and now its price has been dropped and it costs under 15,000 Rs. So now, the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus becomes a good choice and it is better than any other octa core processor phone available in this range. The phone has very attractive top of the line specifications but be prepared to get a little less than what the specs promise to deliver. Anyways, at this price point, it can be good choice if you are looking for a phone with good, premium design and high performance. Note that it is not available in other stores as it is launched exclusively on Snapdeal, but not to worry they are delivering phones in good condition and offering good services.
