[Mega Post] Flash Xperia Firmware & Kernel Easily

Today I'll Show You How Can You Flash Firmware Or Custom Kernel in your Xperia Device Easily Step By Step.


I'm Not Responsible for Anything That Might Happen to your Device. Use This On your Own Risk. Make Sure Your Power Doesn't Cut off During This Operation.




What We Need :

• A Windows Pc
• Flash Tool
• Handset Specific Firmware & Kernel
• Data Cable
• Minimum 60% Charge

Let's Get Started :

1] Turn Off Your Mobile

2] Start Flash Tool It'll Look like This Image vv


3] Now Goto The Folder You Downloded The .ftf File And Just Drag And Drop On The Flash Tool Box. It'll Look Something Like This vv



4] From The Right Panel You Can Select wipe data, wipe cache . It's Better If you Tick it. In New Flash Tool ver. There are More Options like wipe apps log, no final verification.

5] If You Only Want to Want To Flash kernel Then Select exclude system &exclude baseband From The Right Panel.

6] Then Press Ok And You'll See Window like Below.




7] Wait Still Programs Asks You To Connect Your Device Like This



8] Now Connect Your Device In Flash Mode. If You Connect it Successfully Notification LED will be Green. To goto Flash Mode keep Press Volume Down Button And Plug in USB. Key Combination Is Different For Xperia ark, play, neo.

9] Operation will Start Automatically If you Plug in Your Device.

11] In New ver. You Have To Unplug Your Device And Restart .

Important :

• To Flash Official Firmware it's not nessecery to Root or Unlock Boot Loader
• If you Flash It'll Automatically Unroot
• Unlocked Won't have Any effect if you Flash
• If You Only Flash Kernel or Baseband It won'tautomatically Unroot
• Don't Use Mixed Platform Kernel & Baseband. Then Your Device Won't Boot
